A New Chapter for SolidSurface.com — Introducing Lapitec®

We’re proud to announce that Lapitec® sintered stone is now available at SolidSurface.com — our first-ever ceramic surface offering and a major expansion beyond traditional solid surface materials like Corian®, HI-MACS®, and Staron®.

Lapitec represents a breakthrough in engineered stone technology — a full-body sintered stone that delivers the natural beauty of marble with unmatched durability. And for the first time, you can buy Lapitec online at SolidSurface.com (while supplies last).

Available in limited stock — once these slabs are gone, they won’t be replenished.

What Is Lapitec® Sintered Stone?

Lapitec is a 100% mineral, resin-free sintered stone made by compacting and firing natural minerals at over 1200°C. The result is a dense, non-porous, UV-stable, and stain-resistant surface suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Available Colors & Finishes (Limited Inventory)

Lapitec’s aesthetic range is organized into three distinct design families — each offering a unique expression of Italian-crafted sintered stone. All are made from 100% natural minerals, featuring consistent color through the full slab body.

Arabescata — Bold, Veined Elegance

The Arabescata range highlights dramatic, marble-style veining for bold statement designs. Each slab features through-body movement and natural tonal variation, available in select finishes.

Essenza — Subtle Natural Minimalism

The Essenza collection captures the essence of natural stone in refined, low-contrast tones. It’s perfect for modern, minimalist spaces where texture and tone take the lead.

Musa — Timeless Bianco Marbles

Our limited Lapitec stock also includes the Musa collection — a series of clean, white “Bianco” marbles inspired by classical Italian stone. Available in both Lux and Satin finishes, Musa delivers timeless brightness and a refined aesthetic.

FAQs About Lapitec

Q: Is Lapitec the same as quartz?

No. Lapitec is resin-free and made entirely of minerals, which makes it more heat and UV resistant.

Yes. It’s UV-stable, frost-resistant, and suitable for exterior cladding and outdoor kitchens.

Lapitec continues manufacturing globally, but U.S. distribution is limited. The stock at SolidSurface.com reflects remaining U.S. inventory.
